Continuing to develop avionics and electronic
products in response to industry demands, NAT is proud that
many of its products have earned recognition as ‘Industry
Standard’. To ensure quality and minimize production
lead times, over 95% of all NAT product design, development,
manufacture and testing is conducted in-house. NAT factory
departments perform chassis production, faceplate manufacture
and engraving, PCB design and production, and final testing
in an IS0 9001:2000 environment. The remaining
5% is contracted out to specialized manufacturers who meet
NAT’s stringent quality requirements.
NAT promotes an environment of independence
and encourages flexibility of employees to adapt to unique
projects. Each production technician is responsible for the
complete assembly and testing of each unit they manufacture,
resulting in a sense of ‘ownership’. Because they
are involved in every stage of the production process, employees
take pride in their work and strive for the highest possible
level of workmanship. The growing list of NAT’s
TSO’d products, Transport Canada and FAA approvals,
confirms the outstanding quality of product provided to NAT
customers.
