Agusta A109 Grand - NAT Equipped

Northern Airborne Technology Ltd. (NAT), Kelowna, BC Canada, is proud to have its communication equipment on board the AgustaWestland A109 Grand helicopter, reg. no. N1US, on its record breaking flight around the world.  Early in 2008, N1US broke the New York to Los Angeles transcontinental rotorcraft speed record with an all-inclusive flight time of 15 hr., 9 min., 10 sec.  The overall “Grand Adventure” was completed August 2008, in 11 days, 7 hr., 2 min.

N1US was the first AgustaWestland A109 Grand to be based in the United States and has two NAT AA95 Audio Panels and a PTA12-000 Telephone Dialer/Adapter in its avionics suite.  The AA95’s are custom multi-user, high power audio controllers with numerous customizing options to suit specific mission requirements.  The PTA12-100, as part of the satellite voice and tracking system installed on the aircraft, is a separate telephone dialer for flight crew and cabin passengers.
