NAT Announces Canadian “Dealer of the Year”

Northern Airborne Technology is pleased to announce that Atlantic Avionics Inc. of Halifax, Nova Scotia has received the NAT Canadian “Dealer of the Year” award for the year 2001.

Atlantic Avionics is a full service Dealer who has become a trusted and respected provider of avionics sales service and installations since 1994.

In 2001 Atlantic Avionics was awarded a contract to retrofit seven EMS Sikorsky S76A helicopters. This retrofit involves installation of new NAT audio and tactical FM communications systems. The first of the fleet has been completed and has been put into service with many favorable comments from the flight crews. All system integration design work was accomplished in-house and the system has attained full IFR certification from Transport Canada. The next few months will see more activity for Atlantic Avionics as this project continues.
