NAT Announces AA38-300/301 TSO-C50c Approval

Northern Airborne Technology is pleased to announce the FAA has granted TSO-C50c approval of the AA38-300/301 Local ICS Loop intercom expansion units.

The AA38-300/301 ICS Loop is capable of expanding an aircraft intercom system by 8/16 users with operation in HOT MIC or VOX mode. A switch selectable NAT or Andrea Tie Line allows connection to multi-unit systems, and radio or music can be connected to the Aux input.

The AA38 is a remote mounted box capable of supporting a wide variety of ICS Loop applications, particularly isolation/ICS amplifier use, where the output is required to be headset or line level. The compact size and low weight allows mounting in restricted locations and the mapped interconnect makes installation simple to carry out. Built-in LED annunciators speed up airframe troubleshooting by indicating power and VOX operation. Adjustments are provided for ICS and AUX input levels.

A member of the Chelton Group of companies, NAT is a leader in communications equipment for special mission aircraft applications. Products include Audio and RF Controllers, FM Radios, Intercoms, PA and Loudhailer Systems, Satellite Communication Systems and Data Interface Accessories.
