JOB OPPORTUNITY

Title: Storesperson

Department: Materials Management

Reports to: Materials Manager

Salary Range: Dependent Upon Qualifications

DESCRIPTION:
This position involves managing the flow of parts in and out of the stores room. A high degree of accountability is placed on this position for the accurate maintenance of bin levels and overall organization of the stores function.

REQUIREMENTS:
• grade 12 education, or equivalent
• excellent knowledge of electronic parts identification
• ability to work and communicate well with co-workers
• knowledge of N.A.T.'s internal inventory and bill of material system
• good organizational skills

DUTIES:
• maintaining a well organized, properly stocked and accurate stores room
• reconciliation of inventory count levels to accounting records
• ensuring product profiles parts list are accurate in liaison with production personnel
• stocking of parts bins with goods accepted from the inspection department
• the issue and recording of parts to company personnel on an as required basis
• batching of production runs from product profiles as scheduled by the Production Manager
• perform all duties as per the applicable Quality Program Procedure
