JOB OPPORTUNITY
Title: Repair Technician
Department: Repair
Reports to: Repair Supervisor
Salary Range: Dependent Upon Qualifications
DESCRIPTION: This position entails the troubleshooting and repair of products
returned to NAT due to equipment failure.
REQUIREMENTS: • Diploma or Certificate in Electronics Engineering Technology
or equivalent Technician training.
• Good soldering and troubleshooting skills and experience.
• Experience in PC operation in a Windows environment using Word,
Access, and Excel software.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience in a NAT Production environment an asset.
• Good organizational skills.
DUTIES:
• Troubleshoots and repairs products returned to NAT by dealers
and end users.
• Communicates with customers to gather information regarding failures
and to keep them informed of the status of the repair.
• Consults with Production and R&D staff to establish possible
reasons for equipment failure.
• Assists Production and R&D in testing and troubleshooting
new products prior to initial delivery.
• Tracks units repaired and prepares information for invoice entry
in a PC Database.
• Provides input regarding test equipment required to perform the
job function.
• Reports repair information to QA for analysis.
• Maintains a neat and organized work area.
• Perform all duties as per the applicable Quality Program Procedure
