JOB OPPORTUNITY

Title: Electrical Engineer

Department: Engineering

Reports to: Hardware Development Manager

Salary Range: Dependent Upon Qualifications

DESCRIPTION:
This position involves all phases of product development including system design, hardware and software design, prototyping, printed circuit artwork design, testing, documentation, and product support.

REQUIREMENTS:
• minimum education level: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• experience in circuit design and prototyping for airborne applications.
• experience in embedded software applications, including assembly languages and C.
• experience in radio control interface, specifically AEG radios.
• good oral and written communications skills.
• ability to work with little or no supervision.
• ability to work in small, informal groups.

DUTIES:
• system design.
• circuit design, prototyping, and testing.
• software design, mostly for embedded applications.
• generation of proper documentation to allow transfer of design to production.
• product support.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
• work is assigned in terms of broad objectives, relative priorities, and critical areas that affect other projects and departments.
• work is reviewed for soundness of approach and general effectiveness.
