JOB OPPORTUNITY

Title: Avionics Technician/Product Support Rep

Department: Product Support

Reports to: Product Support/Sales Manager

Salary Range: Dependent Upon Qualifications

DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for providing technical support and specific NAT product information to our customers and maintenance facilities that repair and install NAT products.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Current AME “E” license.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a maintenance facility working as an Avionics Technician.
• Thorough knowledge of aircraft communication systems and system integration.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Working knowledge of personal computers and MS Office programs.
• Experience in dealing with customers a definite asset.
• Knowledge of NAT products a definite asset.

DUTIES:
• Provides technical support to our customers related to product configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of NAT products.
• Discusses and provides information to our customers on the suitability, availability, and pricing of NAT products.
• Provides written quotations on products for our customers.
• Fills requests for loaner equipment, which includes coordinating product release with the QA department and ensuring the necessary paperwork gets done.
• Provides instruction on return of unit for repairs, warranty, exchange, and determining if the unit is at fault.
• Maintains the Product Support Department service manuals with revisions, updates, service bulletins etc. and assists our customers in keeping their service manuals up to date.
• Provides Sales & Marketing Departments with ideas for existing and new product and general marketing ideas, and with general information on our customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
